Comprehensive Asbestos and Mould Surveys
Expert Surveys for Building Safety and Compliance
From detailed asbestos surveys to professional mould remediation, our services are designed to meet every need. Whether it's a commercial or domestic property built before 2000, we have the skills and accreditation to manage your asbestos and mould concerns efficiently.
Asbestos Management Surveys
A Management Survey is our standard approach to ensure your property is surveyed for asbestos with minimal disruption. It aims to identify, as far as reasonably practicable, all suspect asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) that might be disturbed during routine occupancy and to assess their condition:
Identify & Locate Asbestos
Assess The Risk
Monitor Condition
Form Part of Management Plan
Refurbishment/Demolition Survey
Required before any refurbishment or demolition, this survey is designed to be fully intrusive, possibly involving destructive inspection to access all areas. It aims to identify and describe all ACMs in the area where the work will take place:
Identify & Locate Asbestos Before Planned Works
Assess The Risk
Fully Intrusive & Destructive
Identify Asbestos To Be Removed
Re-Inspection Survey
Regular re-inspections, typically within 12 months, help ensure that any asbestos previously found and deemed safe to leave in place has not deteriorated or been damaged. This survey includes:
Monitor Previously Identified Asbestos
Reassesses Condition & Risk
Update Management Plan
Ensure Compliance
Bulk Sampling
This process involves collecting representative samples of suspect materials to determine the presence and types of asbestos. It is particularly useful in emergency situations where fast results are needed:
Identify Material Without Survey
Assess Risk In Emergency
No Planning Required
Fast Results
About Our Mould and Damp Survey Service
We offer a comprehensive mould survey service, involving both surface and air sampling, to confirm the presence of mould growth within properties. This survey provides detailed microbiological evidence of mould spores' presence:
Surface sampling determines the presence and extent of mould growth.
Air sampling assesses the likelihood of mould spore inhalation, ensuring air quality and safety.
Surface sampling is used to determine the presence of mould along with the verification of mould growth. The results in the survey report provide microbiological evidence, produced against industry standards together with images of sample locations and growth results.
Air sampling testing is used in determining the likelihood of mould spore inhalation. An air sample is taken by collecting and enumerating the airborne viable particles using a bio sampler. A bio sampler device, when deployed in the property, forces a volume of air onto a growth plate, which is then incubated, cultured and assessed for mould growth. The results obtained from this air test method, provide microbiological evidence of mould spores presence in the air evidence.
